DISCERN-DSS Holds 2nd Project Meeting and Erasmus+ Train the Trainers Workshop at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta

Yogyakarta, Indonesia – The DISCERN-DSS project officially kicked off its 2nd Project Meeting and Erasmus+ Train the Trainers Workshop at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY), bringing together project partners from participating institutions to strengthen collaboration, review project progress, and discuss strategic directions for the development of Digital Scenario-Based Learning (D-SBL).

The meeting serves as an important platform for partners to share achievements, exchange experiences, and align future work plans. Throughout the program, participants engage in a series of collaborative discussions and workshops focused on key aspects of D-SBL development, including the transformation of storyboards into formal specifications, co-creation of learning resources, and peer-review activities conducted in collaboration with European partners.

In addition, the workshop addresses quality assurance processes for e-resources and D-SBL materials, while also introducing participants to Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) considerations relevant to the development, dissemination, and sustainability of digital learning resources. These sessions aim to ensure that the outputs produced within the project meet high-quality standards and support long-term educational impact.

As part of the hands-on training activities, participants gain practical experience in designing and developing digital learning scenarios using OpenLabyrinth. Through this interactive approach, participants are able to apply theoretical concepts in the creation of innovative and learner-centered digital learning resources.

Hosting the event at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta provides an excellent opportunity to foster international cooperation, facilitate knowledge exchange, and strengthen partnerships among project members. The meeting and training workshop are expected to contribute significantly to the advancement of digital education practices and the wider implementation of scenario-based learning approaches in higher education.

Through continued collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing, the DISCERN-DSS project remains committed to enhancing the quality of higher education and supporting the development of effective digital learning solutions that address the evolving needs of educators and learners in the digital era.
